The Importance of Correct Punctuation
From a book by Lynne Truss: A panda walks into a café. The panda eats a sandwich, pulls out a gun, and fires two shots into the air. "What did you do that for?" asks the manager.
Tossing a zoo guide in the manager's general direction, the panda says, "I'm a panda. Look it up." He leaves the café.
The manager opens the book up to the panda section and reads: "Panda. Native to Asia. Black and white. Eats, shoots and leaves."
To ensure you are bothered
In the workplace: "I am sorry this was sent to you in error. I have removed you from our project email list to ensure that you are bothered again and I apologize for an incontinence that might have occurred."
